Sandra is responsible for the planning, implementation, and tracking of content development for the design team. She recently transitioned from E. L. Haynes PCS in Washington DC, where she served as a reading interventionist and the RTI coordinator for the middle school campus. Prior to that, she was a lead teacher at Friendship Chamberlain PCS. Additionally, she designed and facilitated professional development on literacy and data-driven instruction for Teach for America corps members as a content specialist.
She holds a B.A. in Sociology and in Christian Education from Wheaton College, and a M.Ed from George Mason University.
