Paige del Rio
Associate Director of Networks
Paige is a systems builder who is driven to translate the priorities of school-based leaders into systemic supports; she believes every student should have a fair shot at a boundless future and that elevating the voices of teachers is a surefire way to secure it. She leads ongoing data collection and evaluation of Leading Educators' partnerships with Tulsa Public Schools and Summit Learning as the Associate Director of Network 1.
Growing up in Sacramento, CA, one of the nation's most diverse large cities, Paige benefited from early exposure to the complexities of inclusion and equitable access. Raised by a single mother and moved between public and private schooling, she deeply understood that educational attainment was inextricably linked to power and privilege. Fortunate enough to have had dedicated educators invest resources at their disposal in her, Paige was able to continue onto some of California's top universities and eventually set her sights on systems-level work to mitigate disparities for the next generation.
Prior to moving into the systems-level work, Paige supported implementation as a Program Manager across projects in Michigan, New York, Colorado, and our nation's capital at Leading Educators. Preceding her tenure with Leading Educators, Paige served the DC Public Schools community working on new teacher training, teacher evaluation, and teacher leadership and development.
Currently, Paige lives in New York City and enjoys her time exploring the diverse food scene, traveling, watching baseball (Go Giants!), and taking aimless walks with a full queue of podcasts.
