Naureen Ali
Manager of Partnerships

Naureen is responsible for supporting Leading Educator’s expansion into new school districts, managing contracts, and refining systems used to build and maintain external partnerships. Naureen believes all students should have access to exceptional educational opportunities.

She began her career in education as a 4th grade ESL teacher in Houston ISD (HISD), and was named a Kinder Excellence in Teaching Award Winner and a National Finalist for Teach for America’s Sue Lehmann Excellence in Teaching Award. Naureen, a product of k-12 education in HISD, came to Leading Educators from the HISD central office where she worked in college access in the EMERGE College Readiness Department. Naureen helped shape district policy, and guided first generation students through the highly-selective college admissions process. Her students have matriculated to Ivy-League, Liberal Arts, and National Research Universities. Naureen holds a B.S in Biology and a B.S in Health: Science, Society & Policy from Brandeis University.
