Leading Educators provides individual and team-based coaching to help leaders use the knowledge they build in workshops and content cycles. Though the specifics of our coaching approach are customized to fit the needs of a leader and their context, we prioritize three areas:
Content knowledge: fundamentals of quality, grade-appropriate content and the most effective ways to teach it
Teacher practice: how instructional decisions can best serve diverse learners
Equity in action: personal development goals related to anti-bias and anti-racist teaching and opportunities to affect structural change
For multi-year partnerships, we work alongside system-level staff to socialize a coaching strategy so there is internal capacity to refine and implement coaching touchpoints beyond an engagement.
