Managing Director of Partnerships
Carlton leads the Partnerships team and will lead external research and outreach in order to discover and cultivate partnerships with school systems to effectively drive student achievement.
Prior to joining Leading Educators, Carlton served as a Partner with TNTP where he helped lead the business development strategy and cultivation of relationships with school district partners.
Carlton began his career in k-12 education with Broward County Public Schools where he served as Director of Performance Management. In his role with the district, he led the design of the Performance Management Framework that led to significant systematic change around accountability. Carlton also headed external partnerships and was responsible for introducing innovative ways of working with community stakeholders. He holds a B.S from the Georgia Institute of Technology, an MBA in Finance from Fordham University, and an M.Ed. in Educational Leadership from the Broad Center for Education.
