Alisha Watts-Burr
LEAP Leadership Coach

Alisha is responsible for the direct coaching and development of LEAP (Learning Together to Advance our Practice) Leaders at multiple DC Public Schools as part of Leading Educators/DCPS LEAP Program. Alisha came to Leading Educators from DC Prep Academy, where she served as a special education math teacher and, later, Dean of Academic Support in DC’s highest performing charter middle school. Alisha began her teaching career as a special education teacher at the SEED Public Charter School of Washington, DC. She holds an A.B. in Psychology from Princeton University and an M.A. in Social Psychology from the University of Arizona. Alisha lives in the Washington, DC area with her son and husband. She is thrilled to support school leaders in delivering an outstanding education for all students.
