Manager of Communications
Adan is a communications and public policy strategist who helps Leading Educators, our district partners, and our teacher leaders leverage powerful stories to build public knowledge and investment in transformational supports for students, families, and educators.
Previously, Adan supported instructional leadership at more than 30 open-enrollment, public charter schools as the Program Manager for Leading Educators' Washington, D.C. Fellowship. Before joining Leading Educators, Adan co-instructed undergraduate courses in public leadership and coached dozens of undergraduate teams through the design and launch of social entrepreneurship projects with the Rawlings Undergraduate Leadership Fellows Program at the University of Maryland. He began his career in K-12 education designing a program evaluation approach for America Achieves' Educator Voice Fellowships in Colorado, Michigan, and New York.
Adan holds a M.P.P. in Social Policy and Nonprofit Management from the University of Maryland and a B.A. in Political Science from the University of Arizona.
