About Us
Our Mission and Beliefs
Mission
Our mission is to assist non-selective urban public schools in closing the achievement gap and providing all students with high-quality education by developing the skillfulness of school leaders such as department chairs, team leaders, and lead teachers.
Core Beliefs
- Every student can achieve the highest levels of academic excellence - we mean every student in every circumstance.
- Adults are responsible for ensuring that all students excel academically. We, as adults, can and must do more to unlock the potential of each and every student.
- Delivering high-quality public education to all students is critical to a just society that affords every student the full range of opportunities in life.
- Great schools need great leaders - many crucial school leadership roles are found outside of the principal's office. Department chairs, team leaders and deans partner with principals to to deliver school improvement.
- With access to outstanding public schools, all students will develop the competence, critical thinking, social, and civic skills to reach their highest potential in the classroom and in life.
- Forging a development path for diverse leadership roles in public schools is an investment in high-impact education and future school principals.
